Tis Cool

Sorry to all the dedicated followers! We didn't have any internet access so i couldn't post up.. So here it is over 3 days!!!

DAY 6

Had Brekky at this place called Ko Hi Kan.. was nice to start off the day!

Then caught the train to Universal City station.. This was the station we stopped at to walk to Universal Studios Osaka!!! AWESOME DES! (Aka SUGOI!!!!)

This was our first ride for the day! Twas heapsa fun on this ride that we lined up for about 45mins.

Third ride of the day; this was the longest wait, approx 1hr for this ride. But i'd say it was worth it, because the use of 3D, motion and effects was great!

There were some cool parades happening on the street.. felt like joining in! HA!

Lunch was great at Mel's Drive-In diner place.. took me back to the 80's.. kinda reminded me of Grease!!

This was the ride of the day called Hollywood Dream.. Dave was so keen on going on this and so we.. ok I plucked up the courage to go.. coz i had to be (look) strong for Min.. But after going on it it was actually great fun! This was also Minessa's first rollercoaster ride!!! And she loved it!! So much so that she went on it again at the end of the day with Dave and Samantha!!! Lined up in the cold just to go on it one more time! GO MIN!

If you know me, i love playing games; especially ones that are challenging and have a prize/reward that is worth playing. In this case it was a tricky game of throwing these balls into the coloured holes.. Yellow Hole = Big Toy, Red Hole = Small Toy, Blue Hole = Another turn & all the other holes nothing. I had a few goes, Min had a few goes and Dave and Samantha had a go each. I then had 3 balls left and on that turn i decided to change strategy (yes there's strategy to this game).. and i bounced the ball off one of the walls and it slowly rolled into the YELLOW HOLE! YIPPEEE!!! We got so excited that Dave gave be a high five SLAP and my hand was slightly tingly and red from it... but YAY I WON A BIG ELMO!!! haha! HOW AWESOME DES!!! SUGOI!!!!

Everyone wears these hats over here in Jap, so Dave wanted to fit in. Well all the girls that is..

oh.... and neither could Min!!!

We checked out the Snoopy Land area and discovered a few things!

Waah so cheap?.. but I think it worked, coz look at that smile!! haha!

Guess what?.. Dave found a girl whilst waiting at the bus stop.. he's already got his arm around her! Nice moves bro!!!!

This was in the Universal Store.. packed as!

Oh man this was awesome! It took us Back to the Future!.. It was the car from Back to the Future.. Dave actually said that he felt like a kid again.. This was another ride we went on!

Yep a cafe called Pink Cafe!!! Where everything is PINK!

Even the drinks!

All of a sudden they hit the lights on the street and these massive floating characters came out of no where and we were taken back to our child memories and seriously felt like little kids!!! Even Dave said he felt that way.. These were full lit LED floating thingos!! haha!

It was then time for some snacks and...

DINNER!!!!

And I had a reaction to the prawns because i think i had too many..

DAY 7

This was breakfast.. the burgers were organic and very tasty!!

Moved hotels to the Hilton for a night because all other hotels were fully booked out!! NIce hotel!!

The guy at the reception check-in gave the girls some Hilton bears! So COOL!

.. and so i put the bears to good use...

Check out this chapel... this was on level 7 at the Hilton Hotel.. Real contemporary looking and modern fittings..

We decided to go for a walk and see what was around..

..and we saw these people sitting on stumps in the Hilton Hotel.. not a good look..

WHAT?????!!! Yeh that's what i thought!! Min captured this one at the right time.. or wrong time depending on how you see it....

Then all of a sudden we walked down the street and saw this massive building.. and realised.. 'Oh is that YODOBASHI?'.. And it totally was!!.. This is a store with 7 levels of ELECTRONICS and TECHNOLOGY.. in other words.. almost heaven for Dave and I!!!.. It even had a beauty care section for Min and Samantha.. So we were all happy... kinda.. coz that section wasn't very big compared to the 7 levels of BLISS!!!.. i called it JB HIFI on steroids!!!..
